beauty from a new classic perspective
Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Lin Wei lives and works between Taipei and Japan. Trained in Chinese painting, Japanese painting, and Western oil painting, she specializes in portraits and bird-and-flower paintings. Working with mineral and plant pigments, animal glue, and ink on Japanese silk, she unites Eastern and Western aesthetics to portray women through a contemporary interpretation of classical beauty.
